My name is Clara, and I am a passionate game developer and player.
I grew up playing The Sims, PlayStation 2 games, and everything Nintendo (
I will gladly talk about the lost potential of Wii Sports Resorts). Nowadays,
I enjoy playing narrative-heavy games and open-world RPGs!
I always knew I wanted to work with games, since I found them to
be the most special medium, and the additional element of storytelling through
interactivity was fascinating to me. When making games, my goal is to always tell a
meaningful or wholehearted story, or leave players with a feeling of eudaimonia. Eudaimonic happiness describes a deep sense of fulfillment, rooted in meaning, purpose, and personal growth that comes from living in alignment with one’s values and contributing to something beyond oneself (Ryan & Deci, 2001).
Currently, I am working at Mugwort Studio, developing Kitling, a puzzle platformer set in central Europe
during the witch hunts. It's a co-op, so you play as two cats whose bond is all they have in these trying times.
As the Head of Product, I am responsible for all things game and narrative design, so a lot of time is spent on level and puzzle design,
as well as characters, world, and dialogue.
Fallout: New Vegas
Night in the Woods
Breath of the Wild If I could forget I played one game so I could play it again, it'd be this! (or Skyrim?) The exploration in BotW is unparalleled!
Deadeye Dick - Kurt Vonnegut
The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas - Ursula K. Le Guin
Earthsea - Ursula K. Le Guin I am still reading this one, but already I want to experience this beautiful world. (Except for the scary stuff)
